Billing and payments

Understanding your billing and payment options is crucial to managing your account with us. Here's everything you need to know:

How to view your bill

You can view your bill at any time from your account dashboard. Simply log in to your account, then click your profile image in the top right. Choose the 'Subscription' option.

From here you can see the status of your subscription. Click the "Manage" button to load the billing portal.

In the billing portal you'll find all your past and current bills listed.

Remember, AI usage (tokens) are billed separately by openRouter. Chibi does not track or charge for AI token usage.

Note: if clicking the 'Billing Portal' option does not open the billing portal so you can control your subscription, log into here: https://chibi.lemonsqueezy.com/billing

Payment methods

We accept a variety of payment methods for your convenience. You can pay your bill using any major credit card or Apple Pay. To add a new payment method, go to the 'Payment Methods' section in your billing portal.

Automatic payments

For your convenience, subscription payments are automatic. This means your bill will be paid automatically each billing cycle, so you don't have to worry about missing a payment.

In the event of a billing issue you will be notified by email. If your account goes 1 additional billing period unpaid it will be cancelled automatically. Please note, if you're participating in the affiliate program you will be removed from the program--all Chibi affiliates are required to maintain an active subscription.

Updating your billing information

It's important to keep your billing information up to date to avoid any disruptions to your service. You can update your billing information at any time in the billing portal.

Cancelling your subscription

Canceling is just as easy as signing up - no traps, no hassles, just respect for your choice, guaranteed. To cancel, follow these steps:

  1. Open your billing portal by choosing the 'Account' option after clicking your profile image in the upper right of Chibi. Then click the "Manage Subscription" button.

  2. In the billing portal, click the "..." menu to the right of your subscription. Choose 'cancel.'

  3. You will see a confirmation dialog. Confirm your choice and that's it, subscription cancelled.

Lemon Squeezy

We use Lemon Squeezy as our payment provider. In your receipts and invoices you'll see Lemon Squeezy listed because they are the merchant of record (MOR) for us. Behind the scenes they use Stripe for transactions (and Stripe recently purchased Lemon Squeezy).
